Back to school projects
Christ Faith Foster Home
Life Beacon International is proud to announce the successful completion of the "Back to School Project" at Christ Faith Foster Home in Adenta Municipality, Ghana. This impactful initiative was executed by the University of Ghana Life Beacon Club and made possible through the generous funding and support of Loughborough Business School, Loughborough Students' Union, and other valued partners.
The Back to School Project involved the donation of over 125 backpacks to the children at Christ Faith Foster Home. Each backpack was filled with essential school supplies, including pencils, crayons, coloring books, storybooks, notepads, and many more items aimed at enhancing the educational experience of the children and preparing them for the upcoming academic year.
This project exemplifies our commitment to fostering educational opportunities for underprivileged children. By providing these resources, we aim to alleviate some of the financial burdens on the foster home and ensure that the children have the necessary tools to succeed in their studies.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Loughborough Business School, Loughborough Students' Union, and all our partners for their invaluable contributions and unwavering support. Their generosity and dedication have made this project a resounding success and have positively impacted the lives of many young students.

Le Groupe Scolaire de Koudougou 1,2,3 - Côte D’Ivoire
This is a school situated in a region called Bouaflé in the centre of Côte D’Ivoire in West Africa. The Groupe Scolaire de Koudougou translates for the “Groupe of Schools in Koudougou”. Every year the schools try to find new ways of motivating their students to achieve excellence to and strive more in their education. Life Beacon decided to support them in this quest in 2021 when their academic year was coming to an end. Life Beacon contributed with educational awards for Top students in each of the classes from primary all through to secondary school. All the schools were also all gifted with the first books to be placed in their first school library. All the books were inclusive of various age groups across the school, and on different topics too. Additionally, Life Beacon donated some living essentials to the few teachers of the school along with Certificates of Acknowledgement in order to motivate them to keep their hard and noble work of teaching children within this underprivileged region where illiteracy is still high.
Christ Ambassadors School - Ghana
Our encounter with Christ Ambassador’s school was on the 4th of January 2021. We visited the school to donate some essential back to school items for the young students as they prepared to return to school for the new year. We made book, stationary and food donations to the students as well as the teachers. Through our visit we also got the opportunity to speak to the students and give them some encouragement and wisdom on the importance of their education.
